Project Description: The Sid Richardson Hall (SRH) Unit 3 HVAC Renovations project was the third of a three-phase effort to renovate the mechanical and electrical systems for SRH 3, occupied by the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the LBJ Auditorium, and Bass Lecture Hall. This phase replaced the six main air handlers with five new units as well as associated electrical, mechanical, and controls components. All existing equipment was original to the building (1970) and well beyond its life expectancy. This renovation effort helped prevent unexpected failures and ensure the continued operation of those building spaces.
