Project Description: The Marine Science Institute (MSI) marina and docks design and repair project included a hydrologic survey and complete replacement of the existing concrete bulkhead with new steel sheet pile walls and armor rock revetment. The bulkhead structure was built in the 1960s, had exceeded its design life, and was showing signs of failure. This project also included new pavement, parking lots, and landscaped areas. Another project installed new floating docks in consideration of the current and future needs of the campus
