17PSP001 - CAM - ON-GOING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Ae Ea

Project Summary

The abbreviated Summary of Work is as follows:

In order to provide timely and cost effective design and other specialized services, UT, PMCS proposes to enter into Master Agreements for On-Going Professional Services with various firms who can provide these services. Contracts will be executed using individual “Project Assignments”.  There is no guarantee that any SPECIFIC MINIMUM DOLLAR amount of fees will be awarded. Upon mutual consent, the Master Agreements may be extended for a period of five (5) additional one calendar year renewals under the same general terms and conditions with any added modifications due to codes, software versions, firms revised hourly rate schedule as may be approved, new UT, PMCS policies, etc.

The award of individual “Project Assignments” shall be based on the expertise of the Professional Service Provider, their successful performance on prior assignments, the number of projects needed to be designed (after evaluation of UT staff availability), and the availability of funding for projects. Professional Services fees for individual project assignments will be negotiated based on the governing rules of the UT Board of Regents of The University of Texas System.  These fees will vary depending upon the types of services required and the project types.

The successful respondent(s) shall provide hourly rates for additional services or hourly not to exceed tasks as a part of executing the awarded Master Agreement.  These rates shall be based on performance tasks (Principal, Senior Engineer, Drafting Technician, clerical, etc.; not individual names) and be submitted during the contracting process and negotiations. Initial hourly rates shall be for the base year of the contract. These rates may be negotiated for each of the subsequent renewal periods, as applicable.

LBJ School of Public Affairs

Directions to LBJ School of Public Affairs:

The LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin is on the east side of the UT campus, about a block west of IH-35, the major internationalhighway that bisects Austin north to south. The LBJ School is part of a complex of buildings that includes the LBJ Library. The Thompson Conference Center, one of the main conference and meeting venues on the UT campus, is just to the north of the LBJ School. The large LBJ Auditorium is in the basement of the LBJ School's building.

Coming from either north or south on IH-35, look for the exit for E. Dean Keeton Street, formerly known as 26th Street. There will also be signs on the highway for the LBJ Library.

Coming from the north on IH-35, take exit 235b and proceed along the frontage road for a short distance. Turn right on E. Dean Keeton. Immediately and quickly move to the left-hand lane and turn left on Red River Street. Turn into the second parking lot, the lot for the LBJ Library.

Coming from the south on IH-35, take exit 236a, proceed along the frontage road and then take the sweeping, U-shaped right-hand turn that will bring you around to E. Dean Keeton Street, the oval loop indicated on the map above. Turn right on E. Dean Keeton, go under the IH-35 overpass, move to the left lane and then turn left on Red River Street. Turn into the second parking lot, the lot for the LBJ Library.

The LBJ School is in Sid Richardson Hall (SRH), which is a three-story white building between Red River Street and the very large, white marble LBJ Library. The School is in the northern half of Sid Richardson Hall. There are entrances at the middle of the School on the parking lot side of the building, and on the southern end of the building, which corresponds to a breezeway that connects the parking lot to the plaza surrounding the LBJ Library. (To see a campus map, click here.)

There are elevators and a stairwell in the middle of the School. There is a school office directory on the wall in front of the main entrance.

The Dean's Office and the School's main receptionist are on the third floor on the side of the building facing the LBJ Library.

The main telephone number for the School is 471-3200.
