2016 Austin Preservation Merit Award

Presented by Preservation Austin in recognition of the outstanding renovation to the historic Arno Nowotny Building.

2016 AGC Outstanding Construction Award for Interior Finish Out

Presented by the Associated General Contractors in recognition of the outstanding renovation of the Perry-CastaƱeda Library.


2013 President's Outstanding Staff Awards

Congratulations to Kenneth Rhinehart (PMCS Construction for receiving a 2013 President's Outstanding Staff Award on April 23rd.

2012 President's Outstanding Staff Awards

Congratulations to our 2012 Outstanding Staff Award recipient, Laura Burrows (PMCS Construction Services), She was honored in a ceremony on May 4th.

2011 SLICE Award

PMCS Supervisor Armando Blanco was named a 2011 SLICE Award winner for his exemplary leadership. The SLICE Award honors University Operations employees who exemplify one or more values of the organization.

2011 President's Outstanding Staff Awards

Jeffrey Bachschmid and Richard Costa were selected to receive the university president's Outstanding Staff Award, which recognizes non-teaching UT Austin employees who have made outstanding contributions to the continuing success of the university.

2007 SLICE Award

Frauke Bartels, PMCS Senior Graphics Designer, was one of eight University Operations portfolio employees honored by Vice President Pat Clubb. Read more about the SLICE Awards.

APPA Recognition

The University of Texas at Austin Project Management and Constructions Services (PMCS) is a member of APPA, the Association of Physical Plant Administration. APPA's Institute for Facilities Management is a four-track course of study held twice yearly. It includes core programming in General Administration, Maintenance & Operations, Energy & Utilities, and Planning, Design & Construction. Below are the individuals who have received a Certificate of Graduation for successfully completing the full course offered by the Institute.
