Project Management and Construction Services (PMCS)

The Project Management and Construction Services (PMCS) department enhances the university’s physical environment by managing all construction and renovation projects less than $10 million. We provide services in a variety of areas, ranging from major building renovations to replacing carpet in an office. We do this work because we have an institutional responsibility, as outlined in the Handbook of Operating Procedures Section 4-1030 and the Handbook of Business Procedures Section 7.7.10.

PMCS is building campus connections by offering solutions for almost all of your renovation projects, both large and small. We serve the more than 15.4 million gross square feet of building space on the 427-acre main campus, 476-acre J.J. Pickle Research Campus, 445-acre Brackenridge Tract, 96-acre Montopolis Research Center, and several other specialized sites.
